It's with sadness that we have to post this news, but it's been confirmed that James "The Rev" Sullivan, drummer for Orange County metal band Avenged Sevenfold, has passed away at age 28. The band confirmed this on their own site today.

Two sources confirm the tragedy in the music world.
Jimmy Sullivan died early today, Monday the 28th.
Causes are said to be natural right now.
